only He can turn water into wine :)

I believe Jesus was the most joyful person who ever lived. For some reason, though, many people, including a troubling number of Christians continue to imagine Jesus as some sort of strict rule-unloving Father, forcing us to love Him. You know the fun-smashing killjoy who preferred to crash parties instead of throwing them. Sure, Jesus shared some tough hard to swallow words from time to time, and doesn't always give us what we want. But His main message was that of a Heavenly party filled with an abundance of unconditional love heading straight for earth. And the whole world was invited to choose Him freely.

Throughout his ministry Jesus challenged this whole idea that the outside some how served as the means to justifying the inside. In other words, we can know God's name, and still reject His nature. I love how He sums up his thoughts in Matthew 15:10, “Hear and understand, it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” You see we really need Jesus. :) Why?

Only Jesus can turn water into wine, transform the human heart, and take what is dark and depraved, and make it new and full of light once again. Jesus is the party, the Holy One you (pray, abide, repent, trust, and yield) to daily. Remember, "A party without Jesus is just a meeting!" ~Shenine Wiggs
